Warm and cold colours

In room12 we have been learning about warm and cold colours and what group they belong in.So for example ORANGE RED BLUE and GREEN are in what family an easy way I remember is I think that ORANGE is the colour of fire so its a warm colour and red is also the colour of fire. BLUE is the colour of water so it's a cold colour and GREEN is cold because it's the colour of grass.After we had learned about warm and cold colours we did our desk mats we had to choose a cold colour for our name and a warm colour for the background. we also did warm and cold colours for our learning log and our home learning book.With learning about warm and cold colours was very fun.

My Festival Project

The other day room 8 picked a buddy I picked (Chakyla) we also got a topic to do a project on we got Diwali. As you can see we did a dirama. In it we did people, food, rongoli patterns and lots more. I love doing projects they are so fun!!!

What I have liked about 2011 is going to Ngaruawahia. The thing that I'm excited about 2012 is being a Senior!!!!!! But I will miss Mrs Paraha :(

Athletics

This is room8 praticing High Jump for Athletics. When your doing High Jump there is a special thing you do its called the scissor Jump. For the real thing the people moved it higher and higher I made it to the 2nd to last jump but it got to high for me and sadly I cant go to interschool. Oh well I had heaps of fun.

The Netbooks

This is me typing on the netbooks if your wondering what that is it's like a mini laptop but a smaller one and it's cute. We love them so much I'd like to thank the P.TA. for giving us these cool NetBooks they're so cool I love them. And what else is cool is that we can do work in class instead of waiting to go to the ICT... which we only get to do ONCE a week. Sweet THANKS P.T.A.
