My reading project

This is my reading project. I've been working so hard on it. Every night when I've come home from school I've been head down, no playing like a kids meant to do. It's hard to understand but it's been kind of fun and hey it's better to be done than not done right? :) Any way time for some real info.

The first thing we had to do was state 5 facts about each of the energy sources (hydro, solar, biomass, nuclear, tidal, coal and gas. That was hard but we had to do 5 other activities and guess what we don't have to hand it into until Wednesday the 5th so of course I'm just so prepared like that:)

Senior Swimming Sports

On your mark, get set, go! On Thursday the 8th of March all of the Senior Syndicate did swimming sports. It was so fun we did all kinds of strokes like breaststroke , freestyle and lots more. After we had done the strokes we had the relay team and guess what room12 won yay! Then we had to race the teachers and the parents! We also won so I was very happy:)I had a very fun time at swimming Sports.

Warm and cold colours

In room12 we have been learning about warm and cold colours and what group they belong in.So for example ORANGE RED BLUE and GREEN are in what family an easy way I remember is I think that ORANGE is the colour of fire so its a warm colour and red is also the colour of fire. BLUE is the colour of water so it's a cold colour and GREEN is cold because it's the colour of grass. After we had learned about warm and cold colours we did our desk mats we had to choose a cold colour for our name and a warm colour for the background. we also did warm and cold colours for our learning log and our home learning book. With learning about warm and cold colours was very fun.

My Festival Project

The other day room 8 picked a buddy I picked (Chakyla) we also got a topic to do a project on we got Diwali. As you can see we did a dirama. In it we did people, food, rongoli patterns and lots more. I love doing projects they are so fun!!!

What I have liked about 2011 is going to Ngaruawahia. The thing that I'm excited about 2012 is being a Senior!!!!!! But I will miss Mrs Paraha :(
